Recently watched the entirety of scrubs so really wanted to watch a Zack Braff film and after talking to my friends, this was the only one people didn’t completely hate. Don’t really understand all the Zack Braff hate, liked him in scrubs a lot and I enjoyed this film. There’s some cool shots, it’s quite a deep and well written story considering not much actually happens in it I enjoyed the whole thing. Natalie Portman was really good, very likeable. I also really liked Zack Brad’s character, really awful what happened to him as a child and he had a lot he was struggling with, an issue like that is something I’ve never seen before in a film. The film felt very generic, like there’s hundreds of films just like it, but also managed to somehow stay feeling a little unique and I enjoyed it for that.  Everyone I’ve talked to about it have hated on this film but I really can’t think of anything I don’t like about it.  He bassically plays the opposite of JD in this film, but I like Zack Braff a lot and this managed to help me cope with having no more scrubs to watch.  7.8/10
