I love friends, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched this show, seeing them together again was so cool, hearing all the behind the scenes from the actors and writers was really interesting and I really enjoyed it, watching old clips of the show back and hearing them explain how it was filmed and talk about why it’s so funny, was really fun to watch. Other than all of that though this wasn’t great, I don’t think James Corden should have been in this and I didn’t like all the interviews with random people I don’t care about, I would have loved it way more if it was just all of them in a room together discussing the show and every so often inviting in some of the shows guest stars. I did enjoy the stories from the writers and directors though, how the characters were casted and how the idea for the story changed based on audience reactions, all very interesting. Something about the editing and the way this was structured made it hard for me to sit through though, I felt like it was way too over produced and I’m still angry they missed the opportunity of doing a scripted episode. I thought all the actors were great but it kinda felt like they didn’t want to be there half the time, but I still enjoyed it and though I feel like it could have been done a lot better, it’s hard to fuck up a friends reunion since it’s just a bunch of great actors talking about a great show. Definitely disappointing but still enjoyable.
