This is an ova but I’m gonna pretend it’s a film. Never watched dragonball Z in my life, I’ve been reading the manga and was told I need to watch this as it’s canon and really good. Story wise it’s great, but it’s very dated. I only just met trunks a few chapters ago in the manga and I really like him and seeing adult Gohan is really cool too but dragonball isn’t as interesting without all my favourite characters. The dub isn’t great, villains were pretty cringy and the animation wasn’t good either, but it’s old so who cares. Definitely glad I’m reading the manga though, way quicker, this is all so slow and my attention span has been too short to make it through films recently (I’m currently half way through army of the dead and the friends reunion) and watching a 40 minute dragonball ova kind of feels like watching a 3 hour long film. I should be working on my school work right now and that wasn’t worth it but at least I can keep reading now without my friend moaning at me. Procrastinating is bad though I should probably stop.  4.8/10
