Alice and Jack are lucky to be living in the idealized community of Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families. But when cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something much more sinister lurking beneath the attractive façade, Alice can’t help questioning exactly what they’re doing in Victory, and why.

This was awful. It made me feel like I was high, a complete mess and watching it was a waste of time. Some of the acting was good but at other points it just felt awkward and uncomfortable.  I’ve never walked out of a film at the cinema before ( though I have slept through many films) but for this film I couldn’t stand it anymore and I walked out. Then I realised the shop I wanted to go to had shut so I came back so I could finish watching this piece of shit and so I could write this review.  I have no problem with Harry styles, he wasn’t even that bad in this, seems like a cool guy and wouldn’t mind seeing him in more stuff. Florence Pugh is also a great actress, but their characters in this are awful.  It’s so unnecessary confusing just so they can give us a shitty twist at the end. I think the film would have been better if the main character was actually insane and they did a s******  ****** (spoiler redacted).  So many weird and random moments in the dialogue and the film was just so strange and unrealistic. Hated every minute of it. I just sat there in the cinema with my friend as we both had out heads in our hands groaning, completely dumbfounded by the complete mess of a film we were witnessing. It even made me laugh a couple times before of how ridiculous it was.  Even behind the scenes this film was a mess, I don’t know everything about what happened but I think Harry styles was dating the director, everyone hated each other and Harry may or may not of spit on Chris pine.  Speaking of Chris pine his character was probably the worst of all of them, he was supposed to be the creepy man in charge but they never really explain what he’s in charge of and then they randomly reveal that he’s evil in the weirdest way. Complete mess.  1.9/10
