I liked this film more than I thought I would. I don’t like apocalyptic disaster movies, especially ones that are so political, but I think this one did a good job. Probably mostly because if it’s fantastic cast, Leo, Jonah Hill, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Timothée Chalamet and Himesh Patel. I love all of Leonardo DiCaprio's films, he’s a fantastic actor and I love watching him shout of people so this was pretty entertaining. I also don’t like films that try to hard to comment about society, because they usually just use Twitter and Instagram and it annoys me, but this didn’t do a terrible job, it was sort of a realistic depiction of how annoying we are as a human race, how we're so stupid that we would take a risk that could actually end the human race just because if we are successful we could end up a little richer. (Ok a lot Richer) Even tho if the world ends all money is destroyed and obviously becomes worthless. There was also little things like on a live stream to save the entire world there were comments from only fans spammers, I thought that was kinda funny to think about. I also really liked the ending, I genuinely didn’t know if the world was going to end or not. And the what they did with the main characters deciding to stop caring and have a nice meal was pretty cool.  The film obviously wasn’t perfect, it was too long, sometimes the jokes didn’t land. Also the editing had lot of continuity errors and I thought they were really obvious and it irritated me. I did find a lot of the stuff of Leo’s character becoming famous in the middle a little boring, but I really enjoyed the start of the film and the end of the film.  I normally would have turned this off after the credits but I was writing this review, there are actually after credits with Jonah hills character, just thought I’d let you know if you didn’t already.  I think the main message to take away from this is a question. A simple yet complex question, that this film left us to ponder. Why would you charge someone you barely know, for free snacks in the white house?  8.2/10
