This was a nice little romance film and a nice film about the relationship between father and daughter. Not been liking Ryan Reynolds recently due to burnout of him being so similar in every role but he’s still a likeable guy and was quite good in this film.  It was a nice little guessing game of who the mother in the story is. Kinda like how I met your mother, except that show was 9 seasons and the mother is the last girl we meet. This films about three girls and it could be either of them, but one of them saying the title of the film kinda gives away who he will end up with at the end. Was surprising tho that she actually *spoiler for the film and himym* was more like the Robin of the story which I actually didn’t expect. The ending went in a different direction than I thought it would.  The way the story was told was done quite well, they had a nice mixture of him in the future telling the story and him in the past and the actor who plays his daughter was a good actress.  The film did get me tearing up a little after we found out who the mum was and he told his daughter the storys happy ending, and was nearly crying towards the end in the final scene. Was a nice scene. Was a bit messed up he didn’t give the book back for so long but they addressed it in the film. I kinda thought she wouldn’t forgive him but he gave the romantic speech and we got the happy ending. Don’t usually like endings like that as I kinda wanna know what happens after but it was nice.  I like the film, been looking for a nice new romance, thanks for the recommendation Marcus. 7.7/10
