Park Chan-wook is an incredible filmmaker. Oldboy is one of my favourite films and this is the only other film I’ve watched from him, but it is incredibly well made.  I didn’t love it as much as Oldboy, but some of the cinematography is incredible and I also really loved some of the transitions. There was one shot of him thinking about an X-ray and the X-ray arm fades into his arm that I really liked.  The story was ok, I don’t think I was too invested in it but it was kind of interesting, it’s about a detective who falls for a murder suspect. The ending was quite good and I really liked some of the chase scenes, but I didn’t care too much about the story, probably coz it took me three days to watch the film due to work so I kept forgetting exactly what was going on.  Good film tho, think I may watch again, or watch Handmaid’s Tale.  7.5/10 *I don’t know why I thought it was called Handmaid’s Tale it’s called The Handmaiden
