Creep 2014

Directed by Patrick Brice78 minHorror · Thriller

Looking for work, Aaron comes across a cryptic online ad: "$1,000 for the day. Filming service. Discretion is appreciated." Low on cash and full of naiveté, he decides to go for it. He drives to a cabin in a remote mountain town where he meets Josef, his cinematic subject for the day. Josef is sincere and the project seems heartfelt, so Aaron begins to film. But as the day goes on, it becomes clear that Josef is not who he says, and his intentions are not at all pure.

He really is a creep. Fun film, kinda freaky which was cool, found footage felt a bit cheesy the way it was filmed sometimes, but it was weird in a way that worked for it. Some of the jumps scares felt a bit forced, but I liked the antagonist he was really weird.  Think it kinda fell off a little after they left the cabin but the ending tied it all together so well that it made it all worth it.  Wasn’t the most well made film but it was a good horror film I think, pretty good idea.  My second horror film of the month, it wasn’t too bad but hasn’t made me like horror films just yet.  6.7/10
