Champions 2023

I went in to champions mostly hopeful of two things, it to be a wholesome asf movie and just Kaitlin Olson. It was indeed wholesome and it did indeed have Kaitlin Olson, so overall I liked it. Characters are all really good and though the basketball side of it and the relationship between Kaitlin Olson and Woody Harrelson I didn’t love, since every character on the basketball team was so cool and likeable I did enjoy the film.  It was a little predictable and them getting that good at basketball after how horribly all the training sessions went seemed a little unrealistic, but it is based on a true story so maybe I’m wrong.  I found the “your no McConaughey” joke kinda funny considering what’s happening at the moment with them maybe possibly being related.  Every single character on the team was unique in there own way and I found them all to be really cool and likeable. Wholesome asf and has my favourite actress in it.  7.9/10
