But I'm a Cheerleader 1999
Directed by Jamie Babbit85 minComedy · Drama · Romance
Megan is an all-American girl. A cheerleader. She has a boyfriend. But Megan doesn't like kissing her boyfriend very much. And she's pretty touchy with her cheerleader friends. Her conservative parents worry that she must be a lesbian and send her off to "sexual redirection" school, where she must, with other lesbians and gays learn how to be straight.

Was a nice film, set design was amazing. I think it could have come together a little better at the end, the final scene felt a bit rushed and it would have been nice to see a lot of the horrible characters like any of the parents, get bad endings or a little character development, felt like there was so much more they could have done with the final scene tying it all together nicely. It was a cute film nonetheless with some funny moments and good romantic plot.
The two main characters had a good ending but I would have liked to see where everyone else ended up. The way they don’t even show the graduation after she runs away just made everything feel a little too open ended to me which is my only real issue with the film.
Natasha Lyonne is very cool.
