A little cliche, but in a fun way. I didn’t like the villain too much, but the family aspect was kinda wholesome, just felt like a fun superhero movie that didn’t take its self too seriously, like back in the day. If we didn’t have like 50 other superhero movies I think this would have been a lot better as it didn’t bring much new to the genre, but it was still a lot of fun. The uncle was very funny, the main character was good and I liked the actor from Cobra Kai.
Kept thinking that the film felt like a mix of venom and iron man.
There was nothing too interesting about the power or the villain. There was nothing too special about this film at all but it was just a bit of fun.
Wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend to anyone but if u were already thinking of watching it you will probably like it.
7.2/10
10th film in a row I’ve watched at the cinema. (With grown ups in there at some point ruining it)
