This year I watched my first film on the 12th of January and I have now seen 22 films in 12 days. This was the first one to really blow me away, truly amazing film. Ima bout to text all my friends telling them to watch it because this is gonna be my most solid recommendation from now on.  My friend Marcus told me to watch this after I recommended him a film I really love called on the count of three. He said he liked it but Blindspotting was done better. I don’t think that is entirely fair as one, they are very different films and two, obviously it’s done better this film is incredible.  The cinematography and editing are sooo good and they are paired with a very moving, funny and emotional story. The acting from the two main characters Collin and Miles played by Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal who I had never heard of before, was very good. I think I was mostly impressed with Rafael Casal until I saw the ending where oh my god, Daveed Diggs’ performance was fantastic.  I love the films style, I loved the rapping that wasn’t always necessary but never felt forced. I love both of the characters and their friendship. This was just an expertly written, acted, directed and edited film and I am shocked. It wasn’t just well made it was also just really cool, some of the comedy and the characters, it was all just a really fun watch. 8.9/10
