After deadpool 3 I felt like watching a bit more of Shawn Levy’s stuff. This was a kids film. If I was a kid I’m sure I would have really liked this, or even if I had watched it as a kid and had some sort of nostalgia for it. But I’m not and I didn’t, so this wasn’t the best film to watch and was incredibly forgettable.  Was interesting seeing Paul Giamatti play a role like this. He seemed really familiar but I couldn’t work out what from as he played an entirely different person to the character I loved in the holdovers. A bit over the top but again if I was a lot younger I would have probably enjoyed it a bit more.  None of the acting was that good. None of the story or characters were too deep or gave you a lot to think about. The overall premise wasn’t as but it didn’t really have much else to it. His best friend character was kinda cool but she had no character of her own she was just kinda there the whole time and helped him and that was it.  It had its moments tho it was pretty funny at times with the pranks and stuff. 4.3/10
