Directed by Tim Burton. Michael Keaton as Batman. Jack Nicholson as the joker. Comic book movie from before they got ridiculously overdone. Can’t believe I haven’t watched this sooner.  Really fun film, Jack Nicholson is obviously an amazing actor so seeing him as the joker was great. He looks weird, a bit cheesy, but so does Batman, I think this may be one of the best jokers we’ve ever had. Heath Ledger is the best but I think this one may be one of the most fun and cartoonish.  It is a very cool film, but it’s a Batman origin in its simplest form, which is quite refreshing, but we have so many other Batman films that have outdone it that it really doesn’t hold up as much. But it’s the least serious and most fun I would say and I will watch the next one before the flash comes out tomorrow.  Really isn’t much too it it’s a very simple but pleasant superhero film from a time where they were still cool.  I also don’t always like Tim Burton movies, but I love his style and it really works with this film. 7.9/10
