Two losers from Milwaukee, Coop and Remer, invent a new game combining basketball with the rules of baseball. When the game becomes a huge success, they, along with a billionaire's help, form the Professional Baseketball League where everyone gets the same pay and no team can change cities. When a rival owner wants to institute major rule changes, Coop and Remer's team is the only one standing in the way.

Came because I was bored scrolling through Netflix at 2am on a Wednesday, stayed because Trey Parker and Matt Stone were in it, which was a nice surprise. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them in a live action film before and they are obviously some funny guys as there are the creators of South Park, so yeah this film was quite funny. The comedy was kind of random as you would expect from a film called BASEketball, lots of its laughs it got just from being dumb, for example them going to a party and licking the hosts mums dildo, or having a nice friend moment untill they both just start making out, but weirdly the dumb aspect was what was good about this film. The film at times was boring, predictable, annoying or just too stupid, but weirdly the things I disliked most about this film are all part of its charm, so don’t know whether to rate this film 1 star or 5, so I’m going to settle for the middle. Lots of the jokes didn’t land or were just too weird, but I liked it, it was a nice film to watch the make me slightly less bored for a few hours and it was better than it sounds as, again, the film is called BASEketball. If you are a South Park fan and you’ve ran out of films to watch and want a nice, forgetful comedy to entertain you for a short while then I would recommend this film to you, but I’m not going to lie I didn’t pay attention the whole way through, leaving me with questions like why, when I started watching again, were they talking to a pineapple on a giant balancing beam? 6.4/10
