Finally rewatched avatar and can now watch avatar 2 before it leaves cinemas. Sort of felt like I may need a quick 162 minute refresh since I haven’t seen this film since my friends 6th birthday party when I watched it in the cinema.
Avatar is a good film. It looks amazing, which is so impressive for a film made in 2008, it looks better than some recent marvel films.
Yeah it’s a good film, blue people, the forest and creatures. Villains all feel extremely boring and generic but the world James Cameron created was so incredible it didn’t really matter.
Took me a while to get through but I made it to the end and liked it.
8.5/10
40th film of the year. February 4th. Will probably see the second film later if I can be bothered.
