A Different Man 2024

I love it when a film can stress me out this much. This was the kind of film that had me sitting there thinking about how smart the writing was the whole way through. The performances from Sebastian Stan and Adam Pearson were so good. The emotions that Sebastian Stan’s characters evoked were palpable, I was so stressed the whole way through and really felt his jealousy, frustration and self loathing. Such an interesting and cool film that I would definitely watch again. Sebastian Stan is a really great actor that’s really come a long way from playing one of the most boring mcu characters, also Adam Pearson plays his character perfectly, where he is so likeable and annoying at the same time that you really understand Edward’s feelings towards him.  It was so smart and well written, though it did lose me towards the end, the ending felt quite rushed and not very believable, I definitely feel like it could have been done better, but overall this was a great film. I’ve been excited to watch it for so long and it didn’t disappoint.  8.6/10
