I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. It was a lot better than 28 weeks later and the new characters were all great, which was one of the big issues with the previous film.  Stylistically felt very similar to the first film, I didn’t think it being shot on an iPhone would be noticeable, but it was able to replicate a similar visual tone as the first film while still feeling a lot more modern.  The story was interesting and a great addition to the franchise, again felt a lot more similar to the first film, showing characters going on a journey through this crazy new world, meeting interesting new characters along the way, most of whom end up dead. But unlike the second film it doesn’t just kill off all the best characters leaving behind the boring ones. I am excited for the next one.  Loved the soundtrack too and the alpha was really cool. Also loved the ending. Solid film. 7.9/10
