This was ok, I feel like Chris Pratt was the wrong choice for Garfield, but similar to Mario by the end I came to kinda like him.
Doesn’t come close to The original live action Garfield film with Bill Murray but it was ok. I would have preferred if the story was more focused on Jon and Garfield and not been about some crazy adventure, but the story with Garfield’s dad was kinda wholesome.
The film didn’t have much to it though and I love Garfield so I do think this could have been much better, but it was a decent kids film.
5.5/10
How does Chris Pratt keep getting cast as these characters it makes no sense. After the Mario reaction where it literally became a meme, they cast him as Garfield. Honestly when I saw that casting I assumed it was a joke it’s almost too good to be true. Very suprised he’s not in the Minecraft movie. I guess Mario made a lot of money and that’s all these people really pay attention to anyway.
