I liked the first film when I watched it in 2017, and now the characters are older and we have Jenna Ortega who is great. I saw her in “you” and found out we were born on the same day/ same year so I dunno I’m a fan of her now I guess. She’s good, all the old characters are back, it was just a fun film, you can love the style and the editing or hate it, it’s a bit...... quirky I guess. But as long as you don’t take it too seriously and I think go in with no spoilers, it’s good movie. Was a little disappointed by the main villain, don’t wanna give spoilers so spoiler alert, his friend from the first film, they kinda fucked up her character by making her evil for what felt like just shock value, I liked her a lot as the nice girl, but I prefer Jenna Ortega, and I liked how it all came together and even giving us closure with the original babysitter. All in all, it’s nothing special, but it’s just really ..... fun. If your sitting late at night and want an upset yet cool and grousome film, then put this on and you won’t regret it (as long as you’ve seen the first one of course) 8/10
