After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

Possibly Jim Carrey’s last film includes him making a “funny” rhyme about flossing.
“If you don't know how to floss, you'll be lost without me!”
The after credits actually made me gasp out loud.
I really enjoyed this film, definitely better than the first one. Knuckles was probably my favourite part, his character was interesting, he was funny and his voice actor was perfectly cast as Idris Elba. The ending was amazing. Don’t wanna give any spoilers but epic final fight and super wholesome ending.
It’s kinda weird sometimes, the weirdness works when it’s Jim Carrey coz he’s a legend but some of the stuff at the wedding was a bit strange. Like the general guy who loves the Olive Garden.
The first film was just about sonic in the human world making friends, but in this one those friends become his family and he makes new friends just like him. Him and tails friendship and then knuckles as well was the best thing about this, it felt more like a sonic the hedgehog film in the sense that it was more bout all these cool characters rather than a bunch of humans and one cool character.
Such a cool movie.
