I must admit, I wasn’t fully paying attention for the entire film, so I don’t know how well I can review it. Round a friends house and someone stuck it on the projector and I was kind of only half paying attention for a big portion and didn’t pay attention at all for the start but I think I kinda get what was going on.  Again I can’t judge it properly but it did feel a bit cheesy. Not really my kinda film, hence the boredom, that and the fact I was sitting uncomfortably on someone’s floor for most of it did make this one of the most uncomfortable viewing experiences I’ve had, but I like the actors, the plot was kinda simple but a little interesting I guess, a good thriller film I think but again just not my kinda film. I think the dynamic between Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy was quite good, and the film had some intensity to it, but also at times felt a bit over dramatic and cheesy. I think I’ve watched like 5 horror films in my life coz I find them boring so no surprise I didn’t love this, but I am trying to make one at the moment so should probably be taking notes instead of trying to balance a vape on my phone because of how bored I was.  You can definitely tell this was an early 2000s film from watching it, definitely gave off those vibes. Long fight scene at the end, again, not my kinda thing, the moment with the dad at the end was pretty cool, and I like the girl from glee. Ending also felt rushed.  This wasn’t bad it just really wasn’t my kind of film. Clearly I’m not the intended audience.  5.9/10
