In case you don’t already know once upon a deadpool is a re edit of deadpool 2 made to be a PG-13, proving that not only is an mcu deadpool possible, but it can probably be a 12A and still be pretty funny. Sure it’s not as good but it’s still good. The film cuts away to some American sports guy, baseball or American football, which I would probably think was pretty cool if I knew who the hell he was. Though it was kinda funny, as he makes comments on the film that we were all thinking making it extremely meta.  I don’t like all the time travel stuff in this film and the xmen stuff and a lot more shit that doesn’t make sense but it doesn’t matter because it’s deadpool, he breaks the fourth wall so much that they can do stuff like lazy writing and deadpool will comment on the fact it’s lazy writing and all of a sudden it’s funny. Deadpool 2 is still better, and deadpool one is better than that, but this worked, which is exiting, because it means deadpool isn’t just funny coz of his profanity, he’s funny coz he’s deadpool, and the live action one is funny as it’s deadpool who was perfectly cast as Ryan Reynolds.  So yeah I’m exited for deadpools future in the mcu, he’s one of my favourite superher- comic book characters and this film gives me a lot of confidence in his future films.  7.8/10
