I don’t like horror films and I don’t like robot films that much, so after watching the trailer this honestly looked like the worst film I’ve ever seen. Some of my friends wanted to see it at the cinema and I figured I’d go, as I thought they wanted to go for ironic reasons and I thought it’d be fun to laugh at a bad film. But then the reviews came out and I started to get worried, as everyone said it was really good which wildly made me less excited to watch it. But begrudgingly, I ended up going and seeing the film anyway and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.  It made me laugh a couple at times at the absurdity of the doll, it was dancing and singing and I laughed a little and then face palmed. Felt like I was laughing a lot less than everyone else, but I do think it was a funny film and that may be one of my favourite things about it.  I liked the main girl she was really cool and smarter than most horror protagonists. The film felt a little long and again I don’t really like horror films so the part I appreciated the most was the whole comedic element to it.  Definitely better than I thought it’d be. I thought I’d hate it more than any film I’ve ever seen in my life and the fact that I kinda liked it is pretty surprising.  Not awful.  The doll sang. 7.0/10
