Inside Out 2 2024
Directed by Kelsey Mann97 minAnimation · Adventure · Comedy · Family
Teenager Riley's mind headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone.

This film made me cry on the plane next to my friend that hasn’t seen me cry in 10 years.
It was 70% a boring kids film and 30% a deeply thought provoking and nuanced take on how anxiety starts to affect and change people’s lives as they grow up.
The ending was really smart I really loved all the messages and themes they were able to get across with the new emotions. Joy struggling to fight back against the anxiety was incredibly meaningful and representative of real life in a way that surpasses even the first film.
Made my 25 hour flight back to England slightly more bearable.
7.9/10
