Superbad 2007

I’ve seen and reviewed this film before but it’s been a couple of years since I watched it. In its sphere of comedies like this that usually include Seth Rogen or Jonah Hill I think it’s probably one of the best.  The 3 friends dynamic was really funny. So many hilarious one liners.  “You look like Aladdin”  “You don’t have the technology or the steady hands to pull off a procedure like that”  “To people respecting women”  Mclovin is so iconic. The b plot with Seth Rogen and Bill Hader is so funny, maybe even funnier than the party stuff with Michael Cera and Jonah Hill.  Jonah Hills character got kinda annoying but it’s a really good friendship film and both characters are both really funny in their own ways.  Love that their night ends with a calm hang out like every other day and the final scene with the escalators was perfect. 8.0/10 Just re read the last review I did of this film and said “so manny funny one liners” and proceeded to quote my favourite lines just like I did in this review. Which if anything just shows how funny the one liners really are. Also shows I haven’t changed in 2 whole years. The quotes I used that time were “You look like Aladdin” “Prepare to be fucked by the long dick of the law” “Have you ever looked into his eyes? It was like the first time I heard the Beatles.” Proving my favourite line of the film is you look like Aladdin.
