Pretend That You Love Me 2020

½Watched 17 May 2022
My second Joel haver film and I really like this guy now. I really like the title of this film aswell, and I really like the improv.  To be honest I think I prefer “forget about everything for Awhile” because I preferred the story and found it more entertaining, but this one felt more personal and emotional. The way it was done was very weird, it shows Joel on a bunch of dates then has a weird musical number that I really didn’t expect, then it breaks the fourth wall a little and becomes a film within a film.  All the girls did great, I really liked the girl with the accent and girl in the last scene but they all did a fantastic job acting and so did Joel. Also the last scene was really good and very emotional. I like the credits aswell.  Interesting film, very different from anything I’ve watched before. Will most likely watch more Joel haver soon, preferably one with Dax Flame in it.  6.9/10 Also the shot of the bridge that’s the header of this review I loved.
